College of Public Health - Desktop Support On Campus Position
Work Schedule: Business hours Monday - Friday schedule to be arranged upon hire. (20-40 hours during the summer, max 20 during the academic year)

Duties:
Performs routine installation, maintenance, and support of hardware and software. Troubleshoots assigned applications and hardware. Refers unresolved support requests to second-tier support staff. Serves as liaison between technical staff and customers/users to resolve basic problems and concerns. If advanced skills are developed, provide one-on-one support for assigned applications and duties.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills. Ability to transport computer equipment to various campus locations. Reasonable experience with Windows operating system is required. Reasonable experience with Microsoft Office suite is required. Reasonable experience servicing network printers. Reasonable experience servicing computer hardware including part replacement and trouble shooting. Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of Mac OS is desired. Knowledge of wireless networking is desired. Knowledge of video conferencing hardware and software is desired.
