Talent Acquisition Intern

Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Talent Acquisition Department is looking for a highly motivated, hard-working and adaptable coworker to assist the department in an intern role.  The responsibilities associated with this position may change frequently, and with that, we are looking for someone who enjoys learning and is comfortable completing a wide variety of recruiting and administrative support responsibilities.  The selected person’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Create and manipulate spreadsheets
  • Assist with signage creation, ordering, and shipping
  • Monitor and respond to social media posts
  • Review employment applications
  • Conduct phone and behavioral based interviews
  • Administer Kwik Trip’s referral program
  • Provide miscellaneous administrative support

Qualifications:

  • Currently attending school for Human Resources or a similar degree
  • Accurate and detail oriented
  • Self motivated
  • Possess strong skills with Microsoft Office programs – especially Excel
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to process, interpret and communicate (verbal and written) information to applicants in a professional manner
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Ability to work with others in a team-based atmosphere

Work Schedule:  This is a paid internship working out of the office based in La Crosse, WI.  The internship will be a minimum of one year in length.  Interested candidates must be willing to work 15 - 20 hours per week during the school semesters and up to 40 hours during school breaks. It is important to note that we offer flexibility with school scheduling.
