The Stanley Museum of Art has an opportunity for Museum Studies certificate students to make progress toward the completion of their internship hours in the Fall of 2024. This is an unpaid internship to fulfill up to 150 hours toward certificate requirements.

This intern will work closely with the Learning & Engagement team to assist with programming and education efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Analyze public program attendance data, 2022–24.
  • Analyze tour attendance data, 2022–24.
  • Assist with docent library organization.
  • Assist welcoming K-12 fieldtrips to the museum.
  • Complete a personal project, designed in conversation with the curator of learning & engagement, that relates to your career goals.
  • Other related tasks as assigned.

 

Desired Qualifications 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a group setting
  • Dependable, organized, and able to prioritize
  • Demonstrated community or campus involvement
  • Interest in art/ art history, museum studies, event planning, or non-profit work preferred but not required
