Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Contract Type: 12+months

 

Qualifications:

 

• 5+ Years of experience as a DevOps.

• Hands-on experience

• DevOps Metrics Setup to Quantify DevOps Benefits

• Strong Knowledge with Azure

• Strong Knowledge with Terraform, and ability to write reusable terraform modules

• Strong Knowledge with Branching and best practices

• Strong Knowledge of CI/CD automated provisioning tools in a globally distributed environment

• Strong Knowledge of automation service provisioning and middleware configuration

• Strong Analytical skills

• Understanding of Containers technologies and Kubernetes

• Designing, Implementing Multi-Tenancy and Multi-cluster configuration

• Hands on experience building, implementing and operating technology solutions

• Knowledge in the software development process, tools, and languages

• Project planning, controlling, and monitoring capabilities

• Availability to edit, review, presenting project and program status report

• Excellent stakeholder management skills

• Expertise on Linux and Windows administration

• Strong Knowledge with Azure Networking, Azure Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute Site to Site VPN, NSG App Service Environment, PAAS services security and provisioning, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Cloud Security, Azure Key Vault, HSTS SSL TLS Ingress control certificate management, Azure security center threat detection, Container security tools.

 

 

Responsibilities

• Creating architecture and design for large scale Azure hybrid cloud deployments with Azure Kubernetes services and Azure Public Cloud.

• Define the architecture for high availability data redundancy data loss prevention site recovery and resilience

• Define and implement the architecture for high throughput and scale with capacity planning load balancing strategies

• Define and implement the security architecture to ensure data security at rest and in transit application

security key management identity management authentication and authorization with OIDC and

OAuth2, infrastructure security with Azure VNets, NSGs, UDR, etc.

• Responsible for building, implementing and operationalizing DevOps practices, processes, and tool chain across the organization.

• Create release strategies and pipelines that automate the deployment of applications through their lifecycle.

• Lead the team and collaborate with other IT and business teams to grow and evolve DevOps practice

• Ensure information security best practices and policies are implemented and maintained

• Provide services and technical oversight on CI/CD & DevOps related practices

• Manages and reports on the project status, designs, and coordinates.

• Streamline development automation, manage development team productivity via tools automation

• Lead planning, implementation of infrastructure capacity, monitoring and elasticity of the overall platform

• Oversees the scheduling, control and progress of system design, development, and installation activities.

• Coordinate between internal and external resources, ensuring effective communication between all groups and individuals involved in projects.

• Evaluates employee performance; sets expectations and goals for individual staff members; and recruit and train staff.
