Description
Provide supportive casework services to families to help them improve their overall functioning. Duties include completing assessments (family assessments) and investigations, being part of the intake rotation, screening child protection reports, providing supportive casework services to families to help the family improve their overall functioning, complete case plans, testify at court and write court reports, work with numerous agencies to meet family's needs.
Job Duties
Duties of the job include:
Completing assessments (family assessments) and investigations, this includes interviewing children, parents and collaterals.
Being part of the intake rotation Screening child protection reports
Providing supportive casework services to families to help the family improve their overall functioning Complete case plans.
Testify at court and write court reports.
Work with numerous agencies to meet family's needs
Be on-call assigned to provide coverage for emergency social service situations.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Social Work or closely related field required. Prior child protection job experience and or bilingual preferred.
