2024 Information Technology Development Program

Everest Information Technology, a member of Everest Group, Ltd., is seeking talented associates to join our Information Technology Development Program. This is a two-year rotational program that will provide training and professional development for individuals seeking a career in insurance or reinsurance. Note, Everest does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates must possess the requisite permanent US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration

 

Your Impact & Opportunity

As an Everest associate, you will need to think both creatively and analytically, problem solve, assess, evaluate, and make decisions. You will receive excellent on-the-job training from our highly respected and experienced professionals. Throughout the Program, you will be placed in at least three of our cutting-edge divisions:

Application Development, Cyber, Infrastructure, Data Analytics, etc. In addition, you will start your career off with a cohort of your peers!

 

The Program includes, but is not limited to:

Onsite and virtual instructor-led workshops, monthly spotlight speaker and leadership networking events, self-paced course work, professional designations, and more.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing and testing software using unit & integration tests
  • Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
  • Producing detailed design documentation.
  • Ensuring continuous professional self-development.

 

What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications

 

  • You are a senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university, majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, Program Management or similar or you have 1-3 years’ experience working in IT.
  • At least one prior, relevant internship is required
  • This role will require excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Python, .net, CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser compatible code is preferred
  • Experience using JavaScript building tools is preferred 
  • Experience using Cloud based services is preferred

Location: Warren, NJ - Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days working remotely)
