High School Mathematics Teacher

Bethlehem Academy seeks a high school Mathematics Teacher to join our team. 

Bethlehem Academy strives to empower its students and staff to achieve personal, spiritual, and academic excellence.  Bethlehem Academy is a Catholic grades 6-12 school located in Faribault, Minnesota, approximately 25 miles south of the Twin Cities metropolitan area.

The Mathematics Instructor will:

  • Teach mathematics curriculum based on state and national standards
  • Create engaging lessons and class activities
  • Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
  • Integrate technology appropriately to support and enhance teaching and student learning
  • Differentiate lessons, assignments and class activities for students
  • Work collaboratively with other faculty members on common curriculum and instruction
  • Seek opportunities for professional and personal growth through professional learning opportunities, staff meetings and school community involvement

Possible subject areas for teaching include Pre-Calculus, Algebra II/Trigonometry and/or Geometry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or related field
  • Minnesota teaching license (grades 5-12 or 7-12), or ability to obtain license
  • Experience preferred but not required

Start Date:  August 19, 2024 (workshop week)

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.  Benefits available.
