High School Mathematics Teacher
Bethlehem Academy seeks a high school Mathematics Teacher to join our team.
Bethlehem Academy strives to empower its students and staff to achieve personal, spiritual, and academic excellence. Bethlehem Academy is a Catholic grades 6-12 school located in Faribault, Minnesota, approximately 25 miles south of the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
The Mathematics Instructor will:
- Teach mathematics curriculum based on state and national standards
- Create engaging lessons and class activities
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Integrate technology appropriately to support and enhance teaching and student learning
- Differentiate lessons, assignments and class activities for students
- Work collaboratively with other faculty members on common curriculum and instruction
- Seek opportunities for professional and personal growth through professional learning opportunities, staff meetings and school community involvement
Possible subject areas for teaching include Pre-Calculus, Algebra II/Trigonometry and/or Geometry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or related field
- Minnesota teaching license (grades 5-12 or 7-12), or ability to obtain license
- Experience preferred but not required
Start Date: August 19, 2024 (workshop week)
