Ashinaga Japan NGO Remote Internship (Fall-Winter 2024)

Ashinaga Japan NGO Remote Internship (Fall-Winter 2024)

Experience working remotely with one of Japan's largest non-profit organizations! For more than 50 years, Ashinaga has provided educational support and emotional care to orphaned students from around the world. Over 500 interns from more than 90 universities worldwide have helped us to continue this mission, interning in a variety of fields within our organization.

Our Japan-based remote interns work with a variety of different teams at our HQ in Tokyo. Interns may work on a flexible schedule (to accommodate for time zone differences), and are guided through their projects by a dedicated team supervisor, simultaneously gaining transferable skills and an insight into working at an international NPO. In addition to general team-based projects, interns will participate in online events to allow them to learn more about how Ashinaga works, as well as interact with Ashinaga scholars and staff.

Term Dates: 7 October - 13 December 2024 (10 weeks) (*possibility of extension till 14 March 2025 depending on team needs and intern performance)

Working style: 100% Remote (Online)

Working Hours: Part-time flexible schedule (approximately 20h/week, or more if desired). Working schedule to be decided upon discussion with team supervisors.
