Position Overview
The Book Designer and Editor Intern at Bad Kids Korporation will work on the design and editorial aspects of book projects, ensuring that both visual and textual elements meet high standards of quality and coherence. A critical requirement for this role is proficiency in Canva.

Key Responsibilities
1. Book Design:
  - Use Canva to create visually appealing book layouts including covers, interiors, and promotional materials.
  - Collaborate with authors and other team members to design book elements that align with the project's vision and audience.

2. Editing and Proofreading:
  - Edit and proofread manuscripts to ensure clarity, coherence, and consistency.
  - Verify the accuracy of content, including grammar, punctuation, and formatting, following style guidelines.

3. Content Layout:
  - Format and arrange text, images, and other elements to create a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing book layout.
  - Ensure that the layout is optimized for both print and digital formats.

4. Quality Assurance:
  - Conduct thorough reviews of designs to ensure high quality and adherence to project specifications.
  - Provide feedback and make revisions based on stakeholder input and quality standards.

5. Project Management:
  - Assist in managing book production timelines and workflows to ensure deadlines are met.
  - Coordinate with authors, illustrators, and other team members to facilitate smooth project execution.

6. Creative Collaboration:
  - Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for book designs and promotional campaigns.
  - Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ideas into design projects.

Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Publishing, English, or a related field.
- Skills and Abilities:
 - Proficiency in Canva is a must.
 - Strong design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
 - Excellent editing and proofreading abilities.
 - Familiarity with book production processes and design for print and digital formats.
 - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
 - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
