
HSO Office Assistant
The Human Subjects Office (HSO) is a compliance organization that is responsible for reviewing all human subjects research projects to protect the rights and welfare of all study participants. HSO is currently seeking part-time student administrative assistance to help the organization meet its goals.
Primary job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing multiple email inboxes for Commercial and External IRB submissions
- Accurately categorizing emails based on the IRB approval type
- Converting documents to Adobe Acrobat and e-filing in proper study folders
- Notifying staff of any discrepancies identified with submissions from Commercial or External IRBs
- Prescreening post-approval Commercial and External IRB submissions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Successful candidates must be detail-oriented, highly organized, possess excellent time management skills, able to navigate a variety of computer systems and be able to work independently.
Required Work Schedule:
Flexible work schedules between 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. This position will involve a hybrid schedule with some in-office work and some remote work-from-home.
A maximum of 10 hours each week during the academic semester. Summer session hours ranging up to 20 hours per week.
