Duties

  • Serves as an IT analyst for the DLA J62D Portfolio in support of multiple Automated Information Systems (AIS) to include Distribution Standard System (DSS), Vendor Shipment Module (VSM), and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Evaluates and analyzes the customer’s business system requirements’ feasibility, cost effectiveness, integrity, completeness, compliance, computability and testability.
  • Conducts planning, design, documentation, application support, testing/test cases, analysis, trouble shooting, implementation, and overall customer service.
  • Tests and validates that all software modifications meet system specifications and fulfill the approved business system requirements.
  • Conducts and participates in research and investigation of technological developments that have potential to improve the design documentation, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing application software
