Position Title: Electrical Controls Engineer

Location: Celina, OH

Duties / Responsibilities

  • The Controls Engineer develops electrical controls systems and designs, PLC/HMI programming, data collection and optimization of control systems.
  • Support Department engineers with electrical troubleshooting and debugging as needed.
  • Support plant improvement requests for electrical controls to improve equipment and production.
  • Support new equipment installation and functionality checks of the safety and control circuits for final equipment signoffs.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience using Autodesk and AutoCAD drafting software to create electrical schematics.
  • Demonstrate moderate to advanced knowledge of PLC ladder programming language.
  • Familiar with Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) modification and design.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive and cooperative attitude while interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

 

Preferred Skills

 

  • Mitsubishi – GX Works and GT Designer programming knowledge
  • Allen Bradley – PLC programming and HMI experience
  • Fanuc robotics and CNC knowledge
  • Motoman robotics programming knowledge
  • Safety PLC gate logic programming knowledge
  • Visual Basic Programming
