Client Implementation Specialist

Join our team

We are actively seeking our newest team member to build patient engagement solutions and clinical efficiency tools. This role is designed for entry level developers to gain technical experience while contributing to a growing healthcare software company. Proactive and resourceful individuals will be able to make an immediate impact and grow rapidly in this role.

Your Role

In this role, you will work closely with a team of developers to design, configure, build, and maintain systems to support our clients. You will get to know the CareSense platform by building surveys and defining patient interactions using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; you’ll develop new functionality in PHP and Python; and you’ll gain familiarity with our MySQL database as you configure client accounts and report on collected data. We do not expect you to come in with a mastery of these languages, just a willingness to learn. You will receive support and guidance from your team during daily scrums, design discussions, collaborative working sessions, and code reviews. As you become more familiar with our product and tools, you’ll be asked to translate client requests into concrete solutions and to develop these utilities from start to finish. You’ll also have opportunities to redesign and improve our internal tools as you interact with them. Maintaining a working knowledge of current features will be essential to the role, and you’ll work closely with our client services team to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

What we are looking for:

  • Mastery of basic programming concepts
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative to deliver high-quality work without explicit instruction
  • Passion for problem solving and a hunger for new challenges
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident authorized to work without sponsorship

Additional helpful skills:

  • Experience with JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Python, and/or SQL
  • B.S. degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, etc. or completion of a coding bootcamp
  • Previous experience at a small company
  • Familiarity with basic project management practices and ability to prioritize a diverse task list
  • Knowledge of good coding practices and excellent documentation skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and drive to understand client needs
