Job Description:


We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress Site Editor Intern to join our team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in web development and content management while contributing to our dynamic projects. The intern will work closely with our development and content teams to ensure our websites are engaging, user-friendly, and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:


- Assist in the creation, editing, and maintenance of WordPress websites.
- Update website content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements.
- Ensure website design and layout are consistent with the company's brand and style guidelines.
- Optimize web pages for performance, SEO, and user experience.
- Collaborate with the content team to publish blog posts, articles, and other digital content.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including broken links, formatting problems, and plugin conflicts.
- Implement website updates and improvements as needed.
- Conduct regular website audits to ensure all content is current and functioning properly.
- Assist in the creation of landing pages and other marketing-related web content.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for website enhancements.

Requirements:


- Currently pursuing a degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress and experience with website editing and management.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passion for web development and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.

Preferred Qualifications:


- Experience with SEO best practices and tools.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web performance tools.
- Previous experience in a similar internship or freelance role.
