Brand Management Internship

Purpose of the Position: Under the direction and supervision of the Marketing & Communications Director and in harmony with the mission and vision and values, and the established policies, goals and objectives of Aptiv, the Brand Management Intern shall provide support and guidance to Aptiv program/service staff relative to brand management and cohesive messaging across all 8 locations.

  • How to use and navigate social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter

  • Computer proficient
  • Microsoft Office

Internship Location: Aptiv, Inc. La Crosse & Janesville, Wisconsin

Internship Hours: Monday-Friday, mornings and afternoons

Available to work 12 - 15 hours per week.

Job Functions:
  • Perform excellent service to all participants, staff, volunteers and vendors.
  • A desire and ability to build relationships with Aptiv participants, staff and volunteers, and community.
  • Communicate with supervisor, staff, guests and volunteers in a clear, concise and positive manner while using Listen First Skills.
  • Understand be committed to the Aptiv cause and our role in the community as a leader in working with the disabled.
  • Assess organization's current methods of brand management and research additional methods to protect and promote the brand internally and externally.
  • Gather video, photos and stories from stakeholders involved with Aptiv, including participants, parents/guardians, staff, volunteers and key collaborative leaders
  • Determine and implement ways to measure the impact of the social messaging.
  • Arrive for internship hours on time and dressed appropriately.
  • Follow all policies and procedures as set forth in the Aptiv, Inc. Handbook and Department Handbook.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Communications.
