Student Trainee (Economics), OEMR

Duties

This vacancy is for a Summer 2025 internship. 

While the duties of a Student Trainee (Economics), may vary depending on office placement, some of your typical work assignments may include:

  • In the Office of Energy Market Regulation (OEMR): Assisting professional staff members in performing analyses of economic and regulatory issues associated with filings for the purpose of identifying trends, problems, or deviations from pertinent regulatory requirements or Commission policies and developing recommendations to resolve issues for use by the team leader or supervisor.

This appointment is not to exceed (NTE) 09/30/2025. May be extended if the student continues to meet program requirements.  This internship position may confer non-competitive conversion eligibility, however, conversion is not required or guaranteed.
