HWM Financial Planning Associate

OVERALL FUNCTION

To support the team in building financial plans, implementing recommendations and onboarding new clients.
 

PERSONAL PRACTICE

~ Work closely with the Director of Planning and Investments to build plans and recommendations
- Use meeting notes and client data to build personalized financial plans
- Run insurance illustrations
~ Maintain client files, input data and gather information in preparation for client meetings
~ Oversee new investment account onboarding and servicing of existing accounts
- Generate and send new account paperwork
- Facilitate asset movement, withdrawal and deposit requests
- Monitor money lines
~ Schedule regular review meetings with existing clients
- Maintain touchpoints around quarterly review schedules and important deadlines
 

OFFICE LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT

~ Help members of the district navigate planning software
~ Be a resource to the members of the district, as needed
 

QUALIFICATIONS

~ Life and Health licensed or gain licensing within 3 months of employment
~ SIE, Series 6 and 63 licensed within 6 months of employment
~ Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
~ Has interest in learning on a continuous basis
~ Ability to maintain confidentiality
~ Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
~ Familiarity with Microsoft applications
