Associate Account Executive

Kapwing is seeking an Associate Account Executive in the San Francisco office to support enterprise sales of Kapwing's AI Dubbing product. You will work closely with Kapwing’s CEO and Customer Relations team to close deals, serve Enterprise customers, and nurture relationships to increase annual contract value.

As an Associate Account Executive at Kapwing, you’ll be the first member of our sales team, contributing to the growth of our customer base by supporting the sales process and building strong relationships with potential clients. This is an early- or mid-level role ideal for someone who is passionate about sales, organized, and excited to get in on the ground floor of a growing business.

This role reports to the CEO and is based in our San Francisco, CA office (hybrid, 3 days a week attendance required). Immediate start date, ideally before Christmas, desired. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Follow up with prospects after demo calls, answer questions, and remove blockers towards closing deals. 
  • Review inbound demo requests and schedule demo calls 
  • Enhance our client management system, exploring new ways to score leads and add information about users to inform sales targeting 
  • Assist in setting up demo calls and preparing relevant information for leads
  • Configure and deploy free trials, helping prospects get started with Kapwing and providing support as needed.
  • Gradually take on the responsibility of leading demo calls for smaller clients, effectively communicating the value of Kapwing.
  • Build lists of qualified leads using LinkedIn, databases, and other online tools, working with the CEO to build out a lead generation pipeline. 

 

Requirements and Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus. 
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer success, or a related field. Experience in SaaS sales is a plus.
  • Interest in translation, localization, and video production
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally and enthusiastically over phone and email.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and other lead generation tools; experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a bonus.
  • A self-starter with a growth mindset, eager to learn and take on increasing responsibility over time.
