#4698 - ESL Teacher

An active and valid English as a Second Language Pennsylvania Teaching Certification is preferred for this position.  Prior experience as an ELD/ESL Teacher is also preferred. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the physical and psychological aspects of elementary school-aged children and good communication skills. Must understand and be able to teach the approved curriculum.  The professional candidate(s) selected for this assignment understands and agrees that they may be required to teach in a blended or online format as requested by administration. 

  
 In addition to being qualified and knowledgeable in the specific area of certification required, we are seeking individuals trained in:

  • Integrated Curriculum
  • Process Writing
  • Inclusion
  • Computer Background in Windows
  • Data interpretation for classroom/school improvement planning

 

If hired for employment, the applicant must be able to submit the following:

  1. Criminal Record Check (less than one year old)
  2. PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old)
  3. FBI Finger Print Clearance (less than one year old)
  4. TB Test/Mantoux (less than 3 months old)
  5. Physical - if applicable (less than 1 year old)
