Student-Athlete Academic Services Tutoring Job Description

Student-Athlete Academic Services is currently looking to fill tutoring positions for the Spring 2025 semester (and potentially beyond). We are looking for tutors or teachers who may have obtained a grade of a “B” or higher in the courses below and feel comfortable tutoring them. Our tutors provide one-on-one and small group tutoring instruction. Interested candidates are asked to send a copy of their resume and transcripts to athletic-tutoring@uiowa.edu. The pay rate for this position is contingent on education and prior tutoring/teaching experience, however, no previous tutoring experience is required. New hires may be required to attend mandatory tutor trainings. These positions will remain open until all tutorial needs are met.
