Dillard's Executive Development Internship
Dear University Students,
Thank you for your interest in Dillard’s Summer 2025 Dillard’s Executive Development Internship Program. Our internship is led by Dillard’s management and utilizes self-discovery and mentoring. We have found that the most successful individuals in our program come from Business Management and Fashion Merchandising majors; however, the program is open to all majors. Qualified candidates must have completed their junior year by June 2025 and be on track to graduate by May 2026.
The goal of the internship is to train future executives for leadership positions within the Dillard’s organization. Interns will gain leadership skills through exposure to event planning, personnel development, system training, and product placement enhancement. Also, interns will have access to understanding and evaluating the procurement of merchandise within our stores. Some additional industry specifics that interns will be involved with include, but are not limited to:
- Participate in multiple projects throughout store location allowing learning and development opportunities.
- Exposure to all facets of human resource hiring, training and leadership.
- Education on specifics of sales and brand performance analytics.
- Mentorship by tenured Store, Regional and Corporate executives.
- Engaging in all categories of selling and non-selling areas within store.
This is a 10 week, full time (38-40 hrs./wk), paid internship- $20.00/hr. Our Summer 2025 program will begin on June 2, 2025 through August 8, 2025.

Coralville, IA
