Law Clerk - Court of Appeals
The Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District II, is currently accepting applications to fill a newly created law clerk position for the court. Experience is preferred but not required. LOCATION: Waukesha, Wisconsin. This position requires the candidate to work primarily in the office with the possibility of a limited amount of remote work.
SALARY: Starting salary will be $73,939 if candidate is a new law school graduate; $86,259 if candidate has one or more years of court system experience. New hire would have a State of Wisconsin benefits package.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1) Law Degree
2) Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
3) A criminal background check
4) Wisconsin Court System does not sponsor work visas. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States, and to complete the required employment eligibility form upon hire.
5) Prior clerking experience preferred but not required
