Summer 2025 Claims Intern

We are looking to add a Claims Intern to join our Property Casualty Claims team in the Waukee, IA office. Offering a forward-thinking, innovative, and vibrant company culture. Join us for our 11-week summer program for an internship opportunity that will give you invaluable insights into the industry while getting exposure to learning and developing skills in the insurance industry specifically on the Property Casualty side of the business.

You will:

Demonstrate exceptional customer service and operate as an effective partner with clients.

Learn about the claims process by observing and assisting team members with reported claims.

Consult, education, and assist clients with claims related functions and services including:

Provide or oversee accurate and timely loss information for internal and external clients’ use.

Assist clients in reporting claims.

Assist teammates and clients with research and follow-up for claims questions or issues.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled or in pursuit of enrollment at a 4-year institution.

Examples of majors prior interns have pursued: Risk Management & Insurance, Business, Law, and more.

Prior work experience is a plus, preferably in a customer service or claims role.
