2026 Summer Investment Analyst Internship

Pandi Capital, LLC (“Pandi Capital”), an enterprise underneath the TIFEC umbrella, is a Kansas City-based Registered Investment Advisor that advises and manages multi-asset investment portfolios. Our client portfolios are invested globally, across economic sectors and asset classes, including both publicly traded and privately held securities. The primary work with our clients focuses on (a) defining the overall investment strategy, (b) setting strategic asset allocation targets, (c) selecting, underwriting, and monitoring specific investments, and (d) ensuring our clients have a holistic view of performance. We also provide advisory services to our clients’ private companies as they contemplate merger, acquisition, divestiture, or other capital market transactions. One private enterprise our clients own and operate is Sporting Kansas City, which is the Major League Soccer franchise based in Kansas City.

 

Pandi is seeking a self-motivated Investment Analyst for an internship position to support the investment management team. Successful candidates will be able to review financial and business strategies for existing portfolio companies, evaluate new investment opportunities, and analyze and monitor investment performance. The Investment Analyst will work on projects across asset classes and may gain experience in venture capital, private equity, direct investments, public credit and equity markets, real estate, and corporate finance. Other investment-support functions may include financial planning and forecasting, strategic planning, estate planning, tax, and other unique projects as needed.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the investment team to identify and execute value creation strategies for client portfolios and portfolio companies
  • Support the investment research process for various asset classes, capital markets, and specific private or public companies
  • Analyze and research new investment opportunities across a variety of asset classes and end markets
  • Support and execute operational and strategic initiatives for clients, investments, and portfolio companies
  • Review and maintain financial models, cash flow projections, and valuation analyses
  • Monitor investment performance and prepare financial reporting packages for clients
  • Create presentations for internal use and for client purposes

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expected graduation date of December 2026 – May 2027
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to define and manage work independently
  • Ability to work with a small group in a time-constrained environment
  • Strong work ethic, educational background, and evidence of personal achievement
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple complex projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Demonstrate high cognitive abilities and intellectual curiosity
