Program Overview

Nepsis is launching our Wealth Management Internship Program starting Summer 2025! As an intern in our program, you will have the opportunity to work directly with members of the Nepsis team to get hands on experience engaging with clients, and learning different areas of the financial services industry.. You will work with the back-office operations team to understand the processes and compliance requirements of a wealth management team. As part of the Family Office Framework, you will develop a strategic understanding of all aspects of wealth management including tax planning, estate planning, and insurance solutions, and how all departments work together to create value for our clients. Interns will also have formal professional development and networking opportunities.

Interns must be able to work 40 hours a week during Summer 2025 on site in our Minneapolis office.

Interns may be considered for full-time employment upon graduation at the end of the internship.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial advisors to develop reports, presentations, or other materials needed for client communications or meetings.
  • Assist with operations and administrative functions which range from account openings to ongoing account servicing.
  • Participate in other company projects as assigned which may include market research, business development, marketing efforts, or business strategy initiatives.
  • Be an active member of the Nepsis team actively participating in required meetings or trainings.

Necessary Skills & Abilities

  • Interest in a career in financial advising, estate planning or investment management
  • Strong communication skills including verbal and written communication across various communication mediums.
  • Professional and personable demeanor with the ability to work with clients with many different backgrounds.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Self-driven and able to take initiative and incorporate feedback from others.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Financial Markets, Financial Planning, or another closely related degree.
  • Anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or later.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an office or professional setting.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • 3.0 Overall GPA or higher.

Working Environment & Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate. Client and internal company information is highly confidential.

The essential functions of the Wealth Management Intern role will require the employee to be able to communicate verbally with others. The employee will often be required to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer and other office equipment. The employee will occasionally be required to stand, move, reach, and lift up to 10 lbs.
