Role mission:
The Network Administrator oversees technical design, implementation, organization, and troubleshooting of key business systems. This individual will take on several components of a project or a complex component of a project as it relates to our information technology infrastructure.
Essential job duties for this network administrator include, but are not limited to:
- Designs complex LAN and WAN strategies to meet a broad spectrum of business needs.
- Coordinates implementation, optimization, and operation of LAN / WAN systems including procurement, installation, configuration, and management.
- Day-to-day support of existing environment including monitoring alerts, responding to service tickets, and preventative maintenance.
- Technical design work and analysis.
- Project management.
- On-call support will be required.
Essential job requirements for this network administrator include, but are not limited to:
- Bachelor’s degree or at least two or more years of related experience is preferred
- Technical and functional aptitude of the following:
- Cisco data networks
- Cisco SD-WAN
- Cisco DNA center
- Cisco Nexus switching
- Palo Alto firewalls
- SolarWinds monitoring/alerting
- Data networking
