Project Management Intern Position at C1 - 3 Months Opportunity/Summer 2025
Summary
As a Project Management Intern, you will support our Project Management team, with the goal of enhancing your educational experience through practical, on-the-job learning, assignments, and projects. The Project Management Intern will be part of an exciting summer Project that offers an opportunity to work with matrix teams and support activities from project booking through implementation and internal process improvements.
A primary area of focus will be to deliver a process improvement project, including documenting process, evaluating methodology, recommending changes, and assessing value from implemented improvement. This intern will work directly with the Project Management Leadership team, as well as Subject Matter Experts in various functions.
Essential Functions
· Learns the fundamentals of Project Management
· Becomes familiar with Project reporting, focusing on a Project status, change process and status dashboard
· Becomes familiar with Smartsheet, an enterprise planning environment, and how to use Project plans to support project dashboard views
· Assists in updates and reporting to ensure data is accurate
· Documents at least one area for process improvement and reviews potential for implementation with leadership
· Collaborates in developing a communication plan for managing recommended change
· Creates appropriate approach to track metrics for uptake of proposed changes to contracts and creates a
· Supports the Project management team with day-to-day work that covers various activities across the department
· Participates in project status meetings, and assists with minutes and follow up as needed
· Assists in the completion of projects and/or process improvements, as assigned
· Participates in department and/or staff meetings
· Fulfills those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by ConvergeOne for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company.
Required Qualifications
· Ability to think strategically and take on open-ended problems Ability to work independently and in teams
· Solid MS office suite skills
· Strong people skills to build relationships with our project managers and leaders
· Detail-oriented and organized
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
· Must have junior or senior status in a degreed Project at a 4-year accredited college/university
· Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or related field of study at an accredited college/university
· Must have a minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA
