ECOMMERCE POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Ecommerce team is seeking an intern to assist in content generation for our Simply Organic, Frontier Co-op and Aura Cacia brands. This person will research key words, help with email building and optimizing organic search. This person will also get some exposure to analytics, media placement and advertising. This person will get to know our brands, sourcing stories and how to market through various ecommerce channels.  

 

Successful candidates will currently be pursuing (Junior or Senior level) or have recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.

 

Location: In person at our Norway, IA location with some occasional flexibility for offsite

Hours: 20 hours per week for 10 weeks

 

Responsibilities/Learning objectives will include:

  • Content Generation & Optimization – Assist in creating and refining content for Simply Organic, Frontier Co-op, and Aura Cacia, ensuring it aligns with brand messaging and SEO best practices.
  • Keyword Research & SEO – Conduct keyword research to enhance organic search performance and optimize product listings and other digital assets.
  • Email Marketing Support – Help build and optimize email campaigns, learning best practices for audience engagement and conversion.
  • Analytics & Performance Tracking – Gain exposure to ecommerce analytics, tracking campaign performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Advertising & Media Placement – Learn about digital advertising strategies, including media buying, campaign execution, and performance analysis.
