Program Overview:
The Business Foundations Internship is a dynamic, hands-on opportunity designed for individuals eager to gain exposure across multiple business functions, including Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations. This program offers a rotational experience that builds foundational skills in business operations, marketing, data analysis, and internal process optimization.
Interns will work alongside professionals in various departments while contributing to impactful projects that drive business growth and efficiency. Throughout the internship, participants will have the opportunity to interact with management teams and executives, providing valuable exposure to leadership decision-making processes.
Internship Responsibilities:
Interns will engage in various business functions, gaining real-world experience across departments and interacting with company leadership. Responsibilities may vary depending on intern’s strengths. Example responsibilities may include:
Marketing Support:
Develop social media content based on a preset content calendar across platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Instagram.
Assist in building an external marketing database by identifying opportunities for branding, industry events, speaking engagements, sponsorships, and advertising avenues.
Human Resources/Finance Support
Support HR and Finance by digitizing documentation, ensuring accurate record-keeping and document retention.
Operations & Supply Chain Support
Assist with RFQ processes and internal quoting procedures.
Make necessary data updates from Excel spreadsheets into the company’s system. Gain exposure to ERP Systems, learning how to navigate and manage data effectively. Develop Power BI dashboards and tools to support business intelligence efforts.
IT & Compliance Support
Assist with certification and documentation organization.
