About You
As an Associate Consultant, you will play a critical role in defining and implementing innovative data governance solutions in leading insurance companies. Working closely with senior consultants and client teams, you will be assisting with the assessment of client data management and data governance practices, and providing recommendations for improving data quality, security, and compliance. What You’ll Do
Data Governance Execution
- Collaborate with clients to assess their data management capabilities, including data governance frameworks, data quality, data security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing and documenting data governance processes and procedures.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements, ensuring alignment with regulatory guidelines.
- Contribute to the design and execution of data quality assessment and data remediation activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the adoption and effectiveness of data initiatives, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Data Analysis and Interpretation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges, define data requirements, and develop meaningful metrics for tracking data governance improvements.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in insurance data.
- Collect, cleanse, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare clear and concise reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate data findings to stakeholders.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to understand client objectives and challenges.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders by delivering high-quality insights and exceptional client service.
- Communicate findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences.
- Support the development of client deliverables, including reports, executive presentations, and recommendations.
Continuous Learning and Professional Development
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics, data management and governance, and consulting.
- Develop expertise in advanced analytics techniques, such as machine learning and predictive modeling.
- Seek out and actively participate in internal and external training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives by sharing insights, experiences, and emerging trends and technologies related to data management and data governance in the insurance industry.
- Encourage a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific or quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to assess complex data management challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, such as data governance platforms, data quality tools, and data visualization tools. Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other programming languages is desirable.
- Prior experience in management consulting or relevant internships is desirable.

Work Location

- Work is usually remote though travel up to 50% may be required.
