
Data Engineer Intern
As a Data Engineering Intern, you'll work closely with our Lead Data Engineer and the engineering team to:

Assist in Data Pipeline Development:
- Learn the fundamentals of building and maintaining data pipelines.
- Help with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Assist in testing and debugging data pipelines.

Support Infrastructure Management:
- Gain exposure to cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS).
- Learn about data storage, processing, and retrieval.
- Assist with basic system monitoring and maintenance.

Contribute to Data Quality:
- Help with data cleaning and validation tasks.
- Learn about data quality best practices.
- Assist in the creation of data documentation.

Learn Coding and Scripting:
- Practice Python scripting for data manipulation and automation.
- Gain exposure to shell scripting for system tasks.
- Learn how to use Git for version control.

Collaborate with the Team:
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions.
- Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, product) to understand data needs.
- Learn about working in a CI/CD environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts (ideally Python).
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL is a plus.
- A strong desire to learn about data engineering and cloud technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A growth mindset, and a desire to learn.
Nice-to-Haves (But Not Required):
