Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite risk referrals to evaluate and adjust quote terms and pricing
  • Process risk decisions to meet turn-around-time targets
  • Identify opportunities to improve coverages, recommend solution alternatives, and coordinate with other areas to implement improvements
  • Perform underwriting audits on quoted and bound accounts to evaluate existing rules for accuracy and improvements to the underwriting algorithm rules
  • Review inspections and audit reports for cancellations, non-renewals, and other related risk decisions
  • Collaborates closely with technical product management and engineering to ensure accurate implementation of insurance product requirements
  • Support answers for detailed appetite questions from brokers

 

Qualifications:

  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Ability to learn new applications and systems and process complex data from multiple sources to create analyses and reports
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with a high level of self-motivation
  • Excellent written and verbal skills and ability to work in a team environment
