Responsibilities:
- Underwrite risk referrals to evaluate and adjust quote terms and pricing
- Process risk decisions to meet turn-around-time targets
- Identify opportunities to improve coverages, recommend solution alternatives, and coordinate with other areas to implement improvements
- Perform underwriting audits on quoted and bound accounts to evaluate existing rules for accuracy and improvements to the underwriting algorithm rules
- Review inspections and audit reports for cancellations, non-renewals, and other related risk decisions
- Collaborates closely with technical product management and engineering to ensure accurate implementation of insurance product requirements
- Support answers for detailed appetite questions from brokers
Qualifications:
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
- Ability to learn new applications and systems and process complex data from multiple sources to create analyses and reports
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with a high level of self-motivation
- Excellent written and verbal skills and ability to work in a team environment
