Analyst Intern

What I liked

I really appreciated that they treated the interns like a full-time analyst. We had great access to their training materials, and it felt like the work I have done for the company was actually valued by the team. Also, everyone in the office was super friendly and always willing to help out; the summer program had a great onboarding system. I could not ask for anything better as my first corporate job.

What I wish was different

I wish that the interns were able to have greater bonding experiences through company organized events. It sometimes felt like we were all dispersed doing our own things. Also, it would have been nice to be able to work on multiple projects.

Advice

Be proactive and willing to pick up more skills! The more hard skills you have in your arsenals, more projects would be looking to have you. You really gain as much as you put into the job, so keep your mindset open and talk to people around the office.

Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics Analyst Intern

What I liked

I enjoyed the incredibly intellectually stimulating and collaborative atmosphere at CRA, particularly what I experienced from my colleagues and supervisors in the Forensic Services Practice. I felt consistently challenged in my work, but always had support whenever I stumbled upon something I didn't know how to accomplish. I am grateful to have had such a phenomenal experience this past summer at CRA.

What I wish was different

There is nothing in particular that I wish would have been different. I am glad that I was able to experience the company's culture in full and had the opportunity to intern in another city.

Advice

I would recommend anyone applying to CRA to be prepared for both technical and behavioral questions during the multi-stage interview process. Although it isn't an easy process, the questions are very fair for an intern-level position, and the interviewees are all members of the team who you may eventually work with. Every team member not only made me feel welcome and motivated during the actual internship, but also during the interview stages they were extremely supportive and gave great professional advice.
