I liked that I learned and experience a lot of new things in a professional setting. I also liked that I got an inside look at a law enforcement and how the handle their tasks.
What I wish was different
Everything was great. I just wish I had longer time to experience more outdoor activities such as going to camps and juvenile halls.
Advice
It’s a great experience to get your foot inside that door and network. I would recommend to anyone even it’s not a requirement. It’s an awesome experience that will help you in your future.

Be patient to obtain a position within the County of Los Angeles as it is a long process.

Sell yourself, and don't be afraid to try new skills, even if you don't feel qualified. Do your own footwork, and be a motivated self starter
