Open gym attendant

June - August 2018 • Glenview, IL

What I liked

I liked having my own space. The check in procedure was fairly simple. I also liked helping anyone with questions and checking them in.

What I wish was different

When a group would pay all at once, instead of one by one, it slowed down the check in process. It was also consistently loud in the gym behind my desk.

Advice

Having the bank arranged early makes the safe deposits easier. Headphones are invaluable after everyone is checked in.

softball supravisor

June 2018 • Glenview, IL

What I liked

I was a outdoor job and was in a park. I enjoyed watching the games and giving them their trophies at the end of the season.

What I wish was different

During the championship game the lights went out and almost ruined the game. I contacted the correct people but it took a while for them to start up again.

Advice

Bring a comfortable chair if you are supervising for long periods of time!
