No matter who you talked to, everyone was so helpful and willing to help you in any way. I learned different fields outside my own due to their integrations. I liked how all the puzzle pieces fit together and how my department's decisions would affect others. Overall, internships are a great way to get job experience without committing to a job. I would recommend taking part in internships.
What I wish was different
I wish I had time off from my internship. Since internships are limited in time, we worked weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the weekends off. If the interns had time off, I think productivity would have increased.
Advice
If you take part in an internship, make sure you talk to as many people as you can. I learned most from employee's perspectives and experiences. This also allows you to make connections with them which could possibly help you with job opportunities in the future.
